Aquaponics is a new technological system that combines fish farming with vegetable farming. The fish provide fertilizer for the plants, and the plants clean the water for the fish. No artificial fertilizers or other agrochemicals are used, and water consumption is only 10% compared to other growing methods.
Production is completely independent of weather, climate or climate and production is year-round. The produce is very healthy, nutritionally valuable and the yields are incomparable to conventional farming.
